Hole #13
This hole has lengthened by nearly 70 yards and additional bunkers will be added in the fairway making it a par 5. Water crosses the fairway approximately 280 yards off of the tee, leaving a lay up shot off of the tee for longer hitters, The green has bunkers on the right, and the water curls around the left and back side of the green to catch those players who go long and left. This is a very scenic hole that leads off a series of four wonderful holes on the back nine.
Hole #14
Do not let the yardage fool you. The biggest obstacle on this hole is the enormous tree that covers the right half of this par three. Avoiding the tree means hitting left to a green that is protected on that side by a green side bunker. Bogeys are common, birdies are rare.
Hole #15
The number two handicap hole is possibly the number one in terms of beauty and design. The tee shot requires a long iron or fairway wood to a landing area with two tall trees located in the fairway. Just hitting the short grass does not guarantee a clear shot to the green. The ideal lay up will leave the player short of a lake in the middle of the fairway starting 150 yards from the green. The putting surface is has an hour glass shape with bunkers in front and back. The most difficult placement is back left requiring a shot over two pot bunkers with water guarding the left side. This is possibly one of the best short par fours in Texas.
